Just finished collecting all the parts for the saab turbo install, and was wondering about the exhaust gasket. i have a new one for the cavalier, do I need the saab gasket? It looks like on the L61 gasket the squareish hole on the one side isn't covered. does it need to be? I can try and get some pics if needed. Let me know what you think.

that hole is for erg or fast idle air i believe.

i made another gasket without the egr hole, its blocked off and used it in conjunction with my stock eco one... works perfect

What did you use for the other gasket? Sounds like it may need to be covered. anyway to plug it?
