hey guys, just wondering if anyone has or could take pics or where the dipstick is mounted to. my dipstick isnt seating correctly into the block.

this is for when you are m62 supercharged right? i'm havin the same problem but i don't see a mounting point w/ the new dipstick onto the manifold or else where.

yeah its for the m62. i just zip tied it to my rad hose. but its not seated properly onto the block. i can pull it completly out if i wanted to. i had to put a few bends in it to get it around everything. i think im gonna go to the junkers to get another one

Shove it in there. That's what you've gotta do to make it work.

make sure the bottom o ring is in contact and not ripped or stuck inside the bottom end.
Yeah GM coulda done a better job with this. But mine stays in just fine. Theres just no mounting point up top
^^ yeah check for the O ring.
Went months, and wasted a lot of money on oil because I didn't realize the o ring was missing.

bringing this back. what happened was that the dipstick tube cracked off. needless to say i got the broken piece out of the block. i put the new dipstick tube in but its still leaking. does anyone have pics or anything on how you guys bent the tube around stuff. thanks
