So youre saying just F@#$ this and forget the MAP sensor part and just use HPTuners and tune it myself?
I have a innovate wideband from my turbo project that i never sold yet, so i guess it is possible to fake a 2-bar and try tuning it depend on the Air Fuel Ratio, tune it so that the AFR is 11.8-12.0...
The only thing is that i tuned my car with HPTuners before when i had the turbo, but i just don't know if i did it correctly.. I mean, the car idle at 14-15 AFR and then when i accelerate, it goes to about 13-14 and when it is in boost it is about 11.8-12.0, i guess it is a decent working tune but i just didn't really trust myself that much lol..
So I can go ahead and buy a HPTuners and try tuning it myself?
Ahh this is gonna be trouble..
the 2.2 eco s/c tune is locked , so once the dealer flashes it , HPT can not do anything with it
so in a way you are better doing the fake 2 bar and being able to tune it , granted there isnt awhole lot wrong with gm's , but being able to tune is nice
Yes i have a 2004 Sunfire ECM but it is manual so im gonna let GM reflash that into a automatic and for my car with the supercharger tune, and keep my own ECM and tune it..

i'm not to sure if they can reflash a auto tune into a manual ecu i think u might have to get the ecu that u have reprogramed for ur car than do the gm reflash but i could be wrong, i could ask around at work about that.
Cody@RDFabs.com wrote:I was under the assumption after reading what I found in the installation guide, GM wouldn't reflash the PCM without having the product information label to give to GM when they call them for the reflash.
I dunno... this is why I just bought the kit and saved myself a 1,ooo nightmares.
My kit was used, The dealer reflashed it for me NO PROBLEM. I had to leave it overnight to they could wait for the Tuned to be sent to them. I did not show any Documentation as to where I got the Supercharger.
All they needed was the PART # in the Book for the ReFlash and my VIN to make the tune.
No Headaches at all. Actually the Service Writer loved check out my car. I took it back and showed it to him all done after the 3.0" pulley and the Header/exhaust was on, he thought it was pretty sweet.
So i buy:
Part #12614973 - GM 2.5Bar Sensor - $44.61
and
Part #88988320 - GM Sensor connector - $61.72
and that will be the same as what
this guy is selling right?
and with this sensor and this connector, that is all i need for the MAP sensor part right? I don't have to mess with other sensors?
Please clear it up for me?
Thank you guys so much

yes those are the right parts, but didnt the lower intake manifold for the s/c come with the tmap sensor on it? of diid they just remove it?
I went to the dealer today. The 2.4 map sensor that James used is now $200 and the 2.5bar eco sensor is $80.
Is there a way to use the LSJ Tmap sensor? Also, where is the IAT sensor suppose to plug into, the intake manifold or the intake tube?

u have to splice the iat and map sensor into the tmap harness there is a diagram here showing what wires go where.
Ok, thanks. I'll stop my the dealer tomarrow and order them.
Im assuming those are the same tmap and connector that the cobalts use.
