Spring is almost here and I need to get back to work on the cav. Before I put it away for the winter I added the 3.0 pulley on my Eco and never had time to install the heat exchanger. SO when the weather breaks its my first priority. Anyone have any pics of their brackets? I know a while back K Vega was working on a couple of different designs but never seen anything else. Any help would be appreciated so i can keep those IAT temps down
is that your sig? if so it's way too big.
i bought the ones from bwoody for the cobalt.

These are the brackets that came on mine. I got my H/E used off a Cobalt guy that is switching to a turbo.

CXRacing Heat Exchanger, $145 + Shipping from CXRacing on eBay.
It has flat tabs sticking out of the sides. They are a couple incehs wide.
I bent some ALUMINUM stock that was 2" wide and 3/16" thick into the Number 7 Shape. I then drilled hole in the top of my brackets and into the Bottom of my STEEL bumper and bolted them together and they hang down, 1 on each side of the H/E. I drilled 2 holes on each bracket and bolted the TOP BOLTS onto the H/E, The Bottom 2 Bolts go through the bracket, the H/E and THE PLASTIC AIR DAM un the car, it SLIGHTLY tils the bottom back at an angle, but it is VERY SECURE!
This is with my Air Bags at 0psi
This year we are gonna Notch the front steel bumper and tuck it up higher and run some HARDLINES
Hope that helps ya.
I was going to get that same heat exchanger but I decided to just get the SVT heat exchanger. Im really thinking about getting those brackets from Bwoodys
