Besides the vent on the valve cover, are there any passages that would cause the crankcase to be pressurized under boost (not counting blow-by) ?
2002 Cavalier 2200 5spd
If the check ball that connects the back of the valve cover to the intake manifold on the passenger side fails, you'll boost the crankcase.
The 2200 has a fresh air intake vent on the center of the valve cover and a PCV valve on the back left of the cover facing the plenum.

And sorry what i mean by "fails" is that it leaks boost past the check-ball.
