i finally decided to turbo the car list of mods in profile but the engine is built . i picked up a set of rc 440cc inj but now im wondering if they are big enough . im running a se61 precision turbo and im shooting for 18lbs of boost maybe 20 we will see . but i think my inj are to small . i searched and found a guy named adler ran a set of 310cc on his 2200 at 15lbs for 275 at the wheel . so iwas hope 440 would put me in the 350 bracket .
also what do you think about precision injectors or something decently comparible?
if you arent spraying your just playing !!!
I am going to say 350whp is to much for 440cc injectors.. Thats the same hp I am going for but i went to a set of 750cc injectors (bigger than i need) but they cost the same as smaller ones so I went for it so who ever buys the car has growing room if they want for more power.
I would say Adler was right on the edge of maxing out the 440ccc injectors, might have been able to make 300whp but I personally wouldn't want to push my injectors that much. That probably in around 90% duty..

blue car (R.I.P) - 240whp @7psi..
silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
whats crazy is he was doing that with 310cc injectors

go to www.rceng.com and they have calculations you can do to see what size injectors you will need if you know the hp your aiming for and what duty you want to run your injectors at ect. should help abit
yea i know i did the formula they have and it says almost 66lb injectors . i feel they are to big

what would be a good duty cycle percentage? i'm thinking 40-50% that way there is still a little room if need be.

66lbh is not big enough to say they may be "too big". If they were 80lbh then yeah i can understand but 66lbh-74lbh sounds about right for having enough head room if you get the itch (like everyone else) to up the boost.
RC's web site will give you a slightly bigger injector number then you actually need, but they are playing it cautious, but if you go with what they say at least you know your safe and have growing room.

thats true also they are calculating injector size on a set fuel pressure of 43.5 lbs but im using a rising rate afpr 1:1 ratio . so i could get away with 55lb injectors or just get some 650cc injectors . anybody got some ???
