the turbo kit i am getting comes with a garrett GT2560R - 466541 - 1 turbo and i was wondering what the general consensus is about it. good, bad, what rpms does it spool? anything you can tell me would be much appreciated
horsepower is the force that determines at what speed you hit the wall, torque is the force that determines how far you take the wall with you after you hit it.
Might be a touch small...will spool quickly.
all i got sorry.
^^^^ hey, every little thing helps.

its not to small at all. it depends on which motor you are putting it on. the 2200 is going to respond the best to the t28 since the heads flow so poorly that the turbo will spool just fine. the eco and ld9 on the other hand flow much better. if your turbo is goin on an eco you might have a little less power output than you would getting a bigger turbo like a big 16g or a t3.all in all the t 28 is a good turbo but just a tad small for really big power gains on the eco and ld9. if your puttin the t 28 on stock motors it will be more than sufficient but if you plan on building and making big numbers in the power category you might want to rethink the t28
The T25 is sized well for 7 psi on this motor.. It only lacks a little in the effieciency department at high RPM, which you probably won't spend too much time in. The T28 has larger efficiency lands on the compressor maps, uses the same T25 wheel (inertia) and is better if you plan on running higher boost. Whichever you choose, I would recommend getting the ball bearing option! this will help with the turbo spool lag.
I will be building the 2200 im april. It'll be far from stock, but the kit im getting has the GT2560R. I mean, if that doesnt work out well i can always get a bigger turbo, but i was just woundering what you guys thought of this turbo. Thanx for the help.

make sure you update and let everyone know how it turns out
I will
