Ok was looking at their stuff..... they are a tad pricey... like $200 more than most other kits... is it worth it? also, would you suggest the GM MAF stage 2 kit?

... you can build your own. get a injector nozzle, (M5) from mcmaster carr, a 100 PSI pump. and a boost swtich.
... 150 bucks or less.

I used an Alky Control kit. Had great success with it and it was progressive.
I've got DevilsOwn and have had good luck with it. The boost switch went out, but is being replaced under warranty. Chance McClurkin is an awesome guy to deal with. Extremely helpful and easy to get a hold of for trouble shooting and/or warranty. I would recommend them.

Can't go wrong with a DevilsOwn or a Snow Performance kit. I have a Snow Performance kit being put in soon

Some things to keep in mind
you want at least a 150psi pump, much better atomization than a 100psi
tanks, hoses, fittings pretty much all that can be pieced together cheap
Control, you can either go the cheap way and get a boost switch or you can do a progressive controller so you get different flow rates at different boost levels

ok where do you get a 150psi pump.... and for what type of aplication would this be intended for?
can you get just a "progressive" control without a whole kit?
and what is the price diff here? whats a boost switch cost? and how much for a progessive?

Unless the kits you're looking at are $75 or less, what are you on?

yes, stage 1 boost cooler $275.
but stage 2 GM MAF boost cooler $489
i just kind of figure as much as everyone raves about these and how important they are thay you wouldnt want to go with the super el-cheapo kit...
but maybe that is all i need. i don't know. if i did know i wouldn't be here asking.

I personally spent a lot of time with the guys of Snow Performance @ SEMA, and they definitely are a great company with MANY cool toys to offer. I definitely recommend them, but yes, they can be slightly more expensive than others depending on what you buy.

i ran the cooling mist kit and loved it. I picked up extra misting nozzles from mcmastercarr.com . i think that is the site. I know i posted info about it way back when.
is the meth injection kit worth installing on a stock charged m45? will i notice a difference with my stock 2.8" pulley??

its needed more on the M45 than the M62 as theres no other option to cool the charge

I was wondering if we need the Progressive kit or would something like this work without issue?

I myself am still trying to decide which route to go. Yes it would work the trick would be that you would have to set the boost switch to come on about 1psi below your peak boost. Since with a boost switch it is all or nothing you could easily inject to much if you set it too low. Then again if you set it right below peak boost there will be no alky injection keeping it cool when you are in boost but just not beating on it hard enough to hit full boost. However it would still be better than nothing.

Snow performance is a GREAT company with awesome customer service. Their warranty is top notch as well. I have been running a SNOW kit for a long time now and with great results. I recommend Snow Performance.

i had the stock gm s/c pulley and every bolt on you could get. I ran a M4 nozzle that was set to come on at 2psi.
I also had a LED hooked up that was placed in my piller pod next to my boost guage to show when the system was spraying. Pretty easy to hook up.
I ran a mixture of the yellow bottle HEET stuff(methonal) and Distilled water. About a 50/50 mix.
I have been looking at progressive kits and here is what I have found so far
Snowperformance.com $439
alcoholinjectionsystems.com $525
coolingmist.com $499
devilsown $305
