03supercharged told me about this awhile back but i just got around to playin on the minnesota sport compact site and found her. a place called boost factory is willing to make turbo headers/manifolds for anyone, not limited to just j's and they are pretty decently priced, quoted 550 for ramhorn style. the place is pretty well known up here in the MN area and a lot of people will sware by him, ive only heard good things about boost factory.
ok heres the linky check it out

I was quoted 250 for a log style manifold for my eco, Its a really great place to deal with, Chuck is a great guy and he does awsome work, he does everything and anything you can think of. He is definately worth calling to see if he could do something for ya!
lol just don't ask him to do an intercooler/heat exchanger.
Chuck is, I believe (my memory gets fuzzy sometimes) Slappynuts over on VWvortex.... I had a few pm's with him back in the day, he definitely seemed like an on-the-level kinda guy, and I've never seen a negative post about him on vortex (a feat in and of itself).

yeah he's slappynuts on HMT also. he's a laid back guy, and down to earth and can weld pretty well. also cheap... but i had an issue with him, and he defenetily did not fix it properly
I'm running a BoostFactory tubular mani on my big turbo 1.8t. I have nothing but good things to say about the mani, the price, and the people.
lol people ask for a cheaper turbo mani, yet there is no response to this thread... i think most just like finding the posts where there are ridiculously over priced manis just to b*tch and complain about them...
i would have bought one if i had known say a month ago..lol
I'm going to inquire as to whether they have an already made up eco manifold. Seeing as I'm in Canada, driving to MN is not an option
I'm willing to pay for a nice tubular style as long as the quality is there.
