im boosting my ln2 and i eventually want to shoot for 400 hp, im in the processof gathering information so my build will go as fast as possible. what spark plugs do you reccommend. i plan on using msd coils, wires and the msd dis2 system.
thanks

I was scared this question wouldn't be asked this week...
1 stage colder - R42LTS (~5-15psi)
2 stages colder - R42LTSM (>~15psi)
Both are Delco coppers.

so horsepower levels don't matter when it comes to plugs? btw i did search and my question was different than ones asked already so yeah.

These are guidelines. What plugs you run depends on the actual cylinder temperature and real-life heat absorption to the head and then to the cooling system. If you really get near 400hp, you'll be doing plenty of experimenting with plugs and gaps, nobody is going to be able to spoon-feed you everything you need in that territory.

I gapped my plugs at .032, which I thought was small enough.
Apparently its not.
I've heard of people gapping them down as low as .022 on boosted SBC's.
Going to experiment with gaps this year coming.
ok thanks, wouldn't iridium plugs be better than copper though?
