Garrett/Precision GT3255E .63 trim....i want streetable power yet i want power when i need it the most...both are in the price range i want to spend, just lacking the experiance of the two and how the will fit and behave with a stock bottom end with reflash for the eco.
Thanks

just ordered me a t3/t4 57 trim stage III with the .63 a/r housing. wont be on and runnning til spring. talk to bonnett about getting some parts. killer deals there! and im only going to run about 9 psi of boost,
yeah im getting my new manifold from brandon... both are 600$, the gt32 will come with a 38mm wg with 8psi spring as well..just wanted input on pros-cons before i dump money on them, unlike the last 1100$ turbo

a little more than 600 for the 57 trim, actually 660 shipped for the 57 trim or 740 shipped for the gt32

Don't quote me on this, but I remember a few guys on the 1.8T forums talking about how the .57 trim really wasn't much of an upgrade over a .50 trim, basically that the .50 trim had much better spool but the .57 had a slightly better top end. Might want to look up pj's thread on compressor matching and see where each one graphs out to see how it suits you.

1000 cc..how much boost are you running geebus!
Well, if he really wants to push that 57 trim to the limits and stay within the safe area of injector duty cycle, then really, 1000cc is overkill, but not that bad. Of course Matt I hope you're aware that there is going to be a certain sacrifice in driveability and idle quality with those. Might be better with 600ish cc's.

idle and drivability i know will be sacraficed but if i put down some massive hours fine tuning my fuel tables, timing i should weed out a lil bit of stumbly idle and a bogging wot pace..right?
