Soo... have any of you S/c'd eco guys tried this out for our motor and intake manifold yet?

Just curious, since i am taking into account heat soak is an nice little issue with the superchargers and i'm looking to be having a lot of fun with mine down the road.

I made my own also, seems to make a difference on the hotter days. Out of those two I'd go with the second one pictured. I had issues after I drilled tapped and put my fitting on because it was hitting on the casting for the oil filter. It's a fairly tight fit there, I wasn't paying enough attention at first.

I have one I made myself on my Cobalt.... I didn't feel like paying over $200 bones for one when I could make one for about $25

The piece on Crate Engine Depot say these are the suggested accessories....how many of each is needed?

Any help guys?

Also...I have no access to a welder and if I did here in German it would cost me $$$$ to have it done to the current endplate. Maybe if I was in the states...sure I could work this myself but that's not an option here!

So...what else do I need?

Figured I'd bring this post up from the dead. What do you think guys about my dual pass endplate I'm making? Last thing is to braze it to be double sure it's leak proof.

I'd wait until you are ready to install the intake mani before you get it brazed. That way you are not totally screwed if it hits the oil filter housing.

This pic is wrong.

Yeah, it was a parking ticket for visiting. So it'll get thrown out.

I did some measuring last night and almost positive that it won't hit. But to be on the safe side, I will wait to braze it.

90 degree fitting

It's actually a brass fitting so it seals better and has been chrome plated. The tap and the drill costs about the same amount each at a local hardware store. Having a drill press helps a ton granted you can do it with a hand drill.

If anybody wants me to do theirs, PM me...

im running dual pass on mine, did it myself for about 15bucks...

there the fitting, be sure to double check when reinstalling it to make sure its not hittnig the oil filter housing a good way it to shine some light at the fitting and if you can see the light go thru and hit the enigine than you know your good...doesnt take a lot of time to do it

also, the denter fitting you are adding is the inlet, the 2 outer ones are outlets...so the hose routing should be like this

and the laminova cores should be like this:

Thanks JN2 on the good display...the hose routing and luminova placement has been a back and forth topic, who's way is right, on here and on css. But ur illustration definitely is the best I've seen.

Josh- I've went to the last prince's meet and hung out w/ a few of the guys down at nasa one at vw autoworks. I thought you went to arizona?

As long as the coolant is flowing the correct way threw the cores it doesnt matter(in threw the small holes and out threw the big holes).
