So ladies and gentleman, that is the "rough", finished project. Ill let you know how much of a piece of crap it is Tuesday or Wednesday.
I still need to get to work polishing this thing up with a bajillion different grits of grittiness, but besides that it's done.

Nice.
ls1 tb?
Nice can't wait to see it all sexified
yes, BIG DOG throttle body LS1 on LD9 FTW.

and a PSOne controller to boot. Snazzy, nice work, pretty manifold. I want one and dont own an LD9 haha.
if another one is ever made. OVAL RUNNERS from the getgo.

I always wondered how one would get an LS1 tb to work on our cars.. As far as sensors and stuff..
Mani looks good.

Use kerosene as a sanding compound to keep your sand paper from loading up. It may sound stupid but it works great for polishing aluminum. For your finish sanding use a scotchbrite pad along with the kerosene.
If your interested in custom aluminum tilt wheel levers hit me up!

If you have a flange, you can even make an LS1 throttle body work on a 2.3HO intake manifold, w/ a lil bit of fabrication.

well didn't GM use a LS1 throttle body on their 1000+ HP ecotec?

karo had a 71or larger tb on his HO intake , and GM used a LS1 style tb on the drag eco's
them tb spacers we hate , make great adapters
did you use mini velocity stacks in the plenum?
looks like it'll make some serious power, unlike a certain other company's manifold for the J.

Too small to cover the end on a plenum of this size. Works on an HO manifold though fairly well.

I had a shop on eBay fabricate a plate to mount my Northstar TB to. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to having the end of the HO manifold chopped and rewelded to the adapter plate.
By the way Spyhunter, the manifold looks good.

"Youth in Asia"...I don't see anything wrong with that.
I'll have a pic of the setup installed, and you'll clearly see how i routed the throttle cable, but that will be on Thursday or Friday. I've got some kinks to work out and my JEEP needs some love over the next few days.

i was saying that more for use with other manifolds , it gives a geart start to those that dont have the necessary means to fabricate their own , since no one really makes them
I guess I was mainly wondering how our 2.4 harness plugs into the sensors and connectors of an ls1 TB.. ?
Ill be looking to upgrade from my measly 56mm here after my dyno..

Ummmm, you plug them in... same as any sensors.

oh lol, i just thought for some miracoulous reason that the iac, tps and all that would be different on those tb's

dont worry man, i was thinking the same thing. who'd have thought the 2.4 and LS1 shared the exact same TB sensors and such.
weird. cool, but weird.
I was just wondering how this project turned out? Did you get any gains from this or did the project get dumped? I seen someone selling venom manifolds like this on ebay for about an $arm. It wasnt able to accept a tb as big as the one your using I think theres only accepted a 65mm. Anyway you did a nice job I would like to see the finnished product.
