What is the maximum amount of psi i could run on my OHV 3spd auto without an intercooler...??
To tell you the truth running any type of non intercooled set-up just isn't good. Yes people do it, but its not the safest thing in the world. If you want it to last an intercooler and a good tune is the way to go. But back to your question max most people would say 5 psi and thats pushing it.
How good are you at tuning? I modeled my car after the factory turbo Sunbird, ran it to almost 7 psi. Car lasted for a couple of years 'till the rust termites finally ate it.
The bigger question is "How am I going to get enough fuel when I add a turbo?"
