WOW, holy crap.... That is so sweet man... I bet you can't wait to run it huh.. Do you have a smaller pulley on there as well? Now, get a billet battery cover and your bay will light up even more.

just put it on a chain and wear it around your neck.
dammm. that thing looks sooooo shiny and nice!
Why would you get it polished? I thought the heat with the superchargers was already bad. I would have just invested in the the m60 supercharger swap.

huh? polishing the exterior HELPS the heat to dissipate. stock its powdercoated, thats why it heat soaks so damn badly. on top of the polished, the powdercoating got stripped off as well.
Sweet! Looks familiar!

Like zyaaaa said it powder coated stock. When you get it polished it removes the powder coating that traps in the heat. Therefore it should be cooler because the bare alluminum can disipate heat faster. I do not have it installed yet to know how much this helps. It is also ported internally kind of like a cylinder head is. The runners are poilished so they are smoooth instead of the rough casting. This supercharger should flow better than a regular m45. How much better I do not know. I know that stiegemeier has a flow bench but they did not provide information on how much more it flows now.
I would have invested in the m62 setup bet I had already shipped mine off and they had started on it just days before Mike made the m62 flange a reality. The flange would have been a litle over 800 plus a good used supercharger off the newer redline or cobalt would have probably been another 800. And of course I would want it ported and polished as well so there is another 1000. As you can see the real issue was the cost. I still plan on doing this with an m62 but now I have some time to look for a m62 at a good price maybe even find one that someone else has already paid to have ported and polished.
Bobby - DId you notice that Stiegemeier put there tag in a different spot on mine? Do you no of anyone else who has had this done on there 2.4 cuz I do not. They have pictures on their website I am almost positive are of your sc. Here are the links to them below.

^ I was the first M45 they worked on like that. Yea those pics they used are mine. I'm not exactly sure why the sticker is in a different spot, I'm sure it was just where they felt like putting it at the time
. Enjoy it man! I think there is only 3 of us, Gary who did it himself, and you and I who had stiegemeier do it.

Stiegemeier ported my blower, but I didn't have them polish it.

I asked them give me the flow numbers before and after they ported it and they did not. I called back afterwards and all they could tell me it was around 20% gain
