Eco S/C and a 50 shot

Will a stock 2.2 hold a 50 shot of nitrous along with the supercharger? It still has the stock pulley on it, just want to know if the motor will hold it? Thanks, Josh

Why not put a smaller pulley on it for a lot less than a nitrous setup. I wouldn't try the nitrous, I blew mine with just the charger.

I have the 2.6 pulley, Im just waiting on finishing my other motor, what pulley did you blow yours on? I was going to borrow my buddies kit for the weekend and run the 50 shot, but if you think its to much, maybe not. Do they even make a jet for a 25 shot?
Thanks

i know it can handle a 35 shot. so let us know if you try.

I want to share something with you - the three sentences that will get you through life. Number one, 'cover for me', Number two, 'oh, good idea, boss', Number three, 'it was like that when I got here.'

A 2.6 wont last long on a non built motor, hope you have fun in the few passes you get with it

sorry, lol I guess I should rephrase myself, I have the 2.6 pulley sitting in my room, i know to wait till my motor is finished to put it on, the stock motor is barely hanging on to begin with, I have put around 30k on it with the blower, I have an extra that Im slowly building, I hope I finish it soon.

if it is just barely hanging on with the setup you are running now, why are you asking if it will hold up to a 50 shot as well?

^^^^^^^^^as for your question on a 25 shot jet, if you have an NOS kit and you go to oreilly's they have a full page of about around 50 jets along with horsepower ratings and they only run around 8 or 9 bucks a jet.

No, I never did it, I thought it would be more practical to put a 3.0 pulley on instead. I didn't go to the strip anyway it was 95 degress out , it just would have been a waste of time.

lol You're probably right.

The nitrous would've cooled the air down a lot though...
