Question about Hahn Turbo Vacuum Lines
Friday, June 01, 2007 6:04 PM
Im looking at a lot of pics of HRC turbos that have a vacuum line running directly from the wastegate actuator to the compressor housing with no T to branch off for the FMU. Is there another port used for FMU, because in the Hahn Instruction Manual it says to use the brass T which comes with the kit to run the signal hose to the FMU. Can someone clear up this confusion for me ??

I don't have the Hahn kit, but I would assume you would want to T between the manifold and the BOV to get the actual psi going into the engine as opposed as to what's seen at the wastegate...

T it either place. They both work, and I've used both personally.

I used to race cars, now I race myself.

You want to Tee between manifold and BOV.. Your Fmu wont see proper Vac from the compressor causeing improper tunning of your car, and sudden Rich conditions.. Been thought this all to much with this situation....
