I have a T3 Chrysler turbo (.42/.48 - 50 trim) that I'd like to use on my LN2 Cavalier. Where do I tap into for Coolant and where would I throw it for a return line?
I found Banjo bolts and adapters from StealthModePerformance so now I'm just concerned with routing it. I'd like this turbo to be double-cooled (oil and coolant) for the longevity of the life of the turbo.
wait a minute... are you asking where to tap the engine for coolant, or where to tap the turbo? If the turbo doesn't already have a coolant passage (as few t-series do, but I seem to remember the Chrysler 2.2 turbo cars having water-cooled turbos), then you can't just drill and tap it for one. As for where to tap a source from the engine, I've seen people drill and tap the freeze plugs but I would lean toward tee-ing off the water pump discharge hose so that it could easily be returned to stock if necessary.

Yeah, where to tap the engine. You're right about the Chrysler turbo being water-cooled.
So, in conclusion: Where to tap the engine for the inlet and where to tap to drain it.
I had one of those turbos on my cavy before I got my new one. I used the lines that go to the heater.

Personally, I wouldn't use the 'hot' water in these lines. I would tap the radiator inlet and outlet tanks.
radiator outlet => turbo inlet, turbo outlet => radiator inlet

better a delay than a disaster.
you T into the heater core lines , is the normal place to do
id use the return side of the heater core line

Thank you! That's where I thought I'd use them but wasn't 100% positive.
