exactly as the title states, I will be doing a pull and having a really good run and then I lose all power... sometimes it comes right back on and I don't even have to let off the throttle, other times I let off and I get a flashing CEL (misfire). It only happens about 50% of the time and I can't figure it out.
The only 2 things I have changed from it running good yesturday and today are new plug wires and some premium fuel.. that may be a liittle shady... any one ever had a bad tank of fuel giving lots of issues??
I have 6 degrees KR and I am hitting the dyno tomorrow and now something always has to go wrong before I go... so this seems logical.

well theres a few things that i have run into since ive been boosted that have done this. one is spark plug gap, i know you said wires but not sure if you touched the plugs but even if not its worth checking out. i run TR6's at .030". another thing is fuel pressure, just double check. another possiblity is the voltage in your system when running. a weak alternator or one ready to go can do this "you should be seeing close to 14v when engine is running". if your running a stock waste spark setup for your coils check the plastid cover for cracks underneath on the plastic. you can see the burn marks on the white ones, they do come in black too and they are harder to see. ld9's are nitrorious for having problems with the coils arking through those palstic covers. i assume you are running a factory computer since your reading knock. mine did this all the time when i was running a GM computer but. having forged internals sucks when you have no control over your knock sensor. my car would kill timing cause the stock knock sensor was getting minor noise, thats why i love my AEM. this sucks its before the dyno man, good luck if you make it and hope it turns out good.
There are a few fuel related possibilities I can think of. Occasionally you can get bad gas from gas stations that aren't very busy. It happens. Sometimes when the tankers bring gas to the stations, they also screw up and fill the wrong octane fuel in the reservoirs, meaning you're filling with 91 octane but actually getting 87 octane. It also happens. And on a car with stock tune, you'd probably never know unless it was a high compression motor such as in a higher end car. But most times, you'd never know. Was it just a misfire or do you think you were detonating?

My car shuts down at 6 degrees of knock retard. This may be your issue. GM S/C reflash with 10:1 CR and 7.5 PSI. Under the right conditions I hit 6 degrees and it just falls flat.
my issue was something really stupid, so I won't even say what it was, lol.
mitdr774 - what is your KPA at??? when you hit 199-200 it will pull fuel and "over boost"

I was actualy seeing higher PSI numbers from the S/C than I am from the turbo due to a 7.35 PSI WG. Dont remember the KPA #s as I dont like to drive and look at my Tech 2 at the same time. Using a Aero Force scangauge to see KR.
No serously I know of a couple people having this issue, what was the problem, I even get that sometimes, which makes it incredibly hard to diagnose. It is so hard to get it to repeat itself, but it happens, so what was your fix, maybe I've overlooked something in my diag.
