just wanted to know who all is running a turbo timer and if so do you get check engine lights from it..
I have a apexi auto timer that i leave at a pre set time to countdown.
Every time i use it i throw a check engine light soon after start up. I get codes that say class two communication loss with the bcm, fmic and some other things.. I thing its caused by the car still running after the key is removed. I never get the light if i dont use the turbo timer..
Just wanted to know if there is anyway to correct the problem, other than not use the timer..or if it could be something else causing the issue.
Something was done improperly. The BCM is what keeps the current mileage stored in your odometer. So say for example you decided ot swap gauge clusters. Since the mileage is stored in the BCM, as soon as you started the car the new cluster's odometer would immediately roll over to your car's correct odometer reading. Check your wiring diagrams again.
