Did you not get the message? 25 psi on my 2.4 could be very different from 25 psi on your friends 2.4. There are countless little things that could throw the numbers one way or the other. Tuning, build-up, components used, etc. Just do it and find out.
To dumb it down - we can't tell you. That's the bottom line.

lets do some dummy math.....
Stock 2.4 = 150hp
Average HP per PSI = 10hp (yea, I know......)
150 + 250 = 400.
Now, how long will a stock 2.4 hold up to 400hp, not long. Can 25psi = more then 250hp, yes....... but it can also equal less...... since its not the PSI per say that provides the HP, but the CFM the turbo (or other positive pressure device).

Unless properly built. A 2.4 will make 0 hp at 25psi.
You need to understand that boost is a measure of restriction and nothing more. For example you could be running 15psi on a stock 2.4...you then change the cam and make no other changes to the engine, turbo or wastegate and your psi will drop just because there is less restriction in the system. The reason everyone is telling you that your question can't be answered is due to this fact.

i have a 2.4l dohc and i have a universal turbo kit w/turbo mani off of ebay but i refuse to put it on until i have bigger injectors, bigger fuel pump, fuel rail, and personally if i was putting 25psi into a 2.4l i would HIGHLY recomend puting new internals in also or else you may blow your engine and without some bigger fuel delivery you will bog way down well thats just me and im sure some others will agree with me.....
