since I can already tell there are no dyno results for that one, can you at least share the scrap paper you got your number from?

actually i am a doer. i have been here for a lil while. im not saying i kno everything but, i wouldnt have spent all the money i have on my car if i didnt want to get all i can out of it. these are my plans. 1 get hptuners, 2 get a bigger turbo, 3 msd dis 2. with that and what i have now im going to try for 350whp. thats all i realy want. at first all i wanted was to have a turbocharged cavalier, then the boost addiction hit me. i will be dynoing my car on the 31. Im pushing 15psi. but there is one problem. when i first put the turbo on my car i didnt do enough research. so i bought an ssautocrome turbo, but thats not the problem. the turbo works fine. but the turbo is too small. its a standard t3. .48 exhaust .42 compressor but its a 45trim wheel. and at 15psi its off the efficency range. i bought a big intercooler and it helped alot. but im not getting nearly as much power as i should with a hybrid like i want. Im saving up right now for hptuners then ill get the turbo. and im not going to spend all this money if im not going to do it. i have spent alot already for the engine to handle it. ill post my dyno sheet up here when i get back from the dyno.

350 is totally possible for the 2200s, Hell 500hp is possible, but because of parts you may need to get some custom motor parts made :p

not to mention on that set up it would probably make less hp considering the low ass comp. (not sure what stock is though). this guys just a tool and has no clue what he's talking about. cant even lie right.

stock is 9:1, 9.5:1 is an increase. Do your homework before posting please (see above).

i know that. i think kavykidln2 was talking about an na 2200 a couple months ago in a different thread. Maybe he actually has somehting done? I would have to beleive 240 is damn near impossible, but nobody else has tried.

not to mention look at his mod list. lower comp. pistons, and a "chip" are included. its obvious this guy is just a freaking idiot.

You'll never get over 300 for long out of a stock bottom end, even with a little luck. It took me what I thought was a bulletproof bottom end, lots of RPM's, lots of compression, and lots of boost. On 10:1 compression, 18 psi on a T3 60-1 .63 a/r and a 7800 rpm redline, I pulled 462 hp. But if there's one thing about a pushrod motor, its that it takes more than just crankwork to maintain a high RPM motor. Mine didn't mind the 7800 rpm redline, but at 11000 or 12000 on a mid 1-2-3-2 mis-shift, it decided to let go. And when a motor lets go at that kind of RPM... bad things happen.

you have any pictures or videos of that setup? Also, what was the cam profile?

Unfortunately no. It was together for about 2 weeks during the summer. I wasn't quite finished making it look pretty enough. I was busy with "form over function" and it didn't look the way I wanted it too yet. As for my cam profile, it was a .498 lift, 240 duration on a .08 lobe separation. I've found you can run lots of duration on FI cams as long as you tune properly.

Yes. And it seems the people think duration is all about overlap and you "don't want too much overlap". I think they forget the basic science behind duration is the longer the valves stay open, and the higher the valves open... the more air you can force in. BRILLIANT. I'll say this. That cam definitely made wicked power.
