Is it possible to have a little bit of light colored smoke come out if you are running pretty lean. I mean just a little bit and only if the car has sat at idle for five minutes or so after first start up. It doesn't do it at all after it has been driven and then sitting at idle, only on the first start up of the day.
I am guessing no answers yet, means no one is sure. I am seriously worried about this and I am in Germany and just going to a local mechanic is not quite an option. So any advice would be lovely.
Do you have any fuel/ecm modifications?
In a couple of days I will new injectors 60#. I curently have SAFC2, but I will have HPTuners in a couple of days as well
Please someone help before something bad happens.
My afr is right at about13.9:1 to 14.8:1 from idle and all throughout the throttle. The turbo has about 1200 miles on it. What about if I have a heavy oil in say about 15W45 synthetic, could that make me smoke a bit.
In my opinion that AFR is way to lean...I'd let the car sit until you have the injectors and hptuners then try to tune for AFR's more like 11.8:1.
