Boost Probs....NEED Help

Hey guys, I haven;t posted in a while on here but i know how much of a great bunch of guys/girls you are and i was hoping if anyone could shed some light on a problem i am having.

About a month and a half ago i took my newly boosted fully built 2200 Fire up to the cottage and back and ripped her up hard. So after 2 hrs of driving hard in boost and in hot weather i get home. I let the car idle for about 5 mins before i shut it off so that it could cool down. Well i didn;t start it for a couple of days and when i went to go drive it again it wouldn;t hit over 1psi. Now I was hitting 11psi before. The turbo is spooling and it wants to hit boost but it doesn;t. its also kinda jolting when i give it but im guessing thats from all the fuel getting dumped in with out the propper air mix. My Guess is that the Wastegate is stuck open? Would that be a correct diagnoses? I've changed all the vac hoses and made sure everything nut and bolt is tight but it just won;t build pressure. I need some insite if anyone has it there for me...

If its the wastegate, it can be rebuilt...its a Tial 44mm waste gate RIGHT?

Thanks in advance

there is a spring in it.. change the spring maybe thats the problem.....

I would also check your manifold for cracks... if it cracked during that rompage it wont build boost now due to the leak at the cracks

^ Yeah is there any sort of vac leak? If not then id deffinatly be looking at the wastegate, assuming you cant see any other problems with the engine, intake/exhaust manifold leak, turbo not spinning/ oil seals blown out etc. They're pretty simple in design so its not hard to take em apart/rebuild em. I know it sounds rediculous, but you might want to check your piping for any blocks in it, i only suggest it cause once someone left a rag in mine and it completely blocked air so i couldnt spool boost either. I suppose its possible for your blowoff valve to be stuck open too and bypassing air.

I'm going to take it to the shop either tomorrow or tuesday to igure out the problem. as far as i can see there are no cracks. What i don;t get is that it was working AMAZING while driving up and back from the cottage. it just instantly didn;t work the next time i started up the car....so either something is stuck open and letting all the compressed vaccum out or i dunno!.......If anyone has anymore ideas i's love to hear them!
