Questions about pre 2k s/cing on LD9

Hey guys,

I read the pre 2k s/c sticky but stilll have a couple of questions. I'm going to be installing a s/c on a friends 99 cavy. First off, he's using my stock 310cc injectors. I has have 32lbs injectors if need be. Not only that i have hpt so i can change the inj constant. But what kind of FMU ration should he use? or are most guys getting the adjjustable one from cartech. ALso, since the map sensor can't read boost, are you guys just using the one way check valve to bleed the boost of before it hits the map sensor?

Thanks guys
Nate

1, I wouldnt use a FMU at all, since you have HPT
2, I never had a problem with NOT using a check valve...... most of the time I see problems from using one

mm.. but wouldn't the map sensor go array when you go into boost?

Anybody else want to post their experience with their pre 2k s/c setup.

Nate, is your buddy still looking to buy my s/c setup? I recieved an email from him a week ago or so and have been trying to get him a shipping quote, but was out of town last week. If he buys my setup for a little extra I would send my completed HPTuners files along with it so that everything would be ready to go, drop me an email or have him drop me an email and let me know, thanks man. jcarl_19@yahoo.com
