What he said. Also it would be a good idea to use a ruler using the MM side to measure exactly how much material was removed from the tb port and the intake manifold.

^^ As far as I've been told, the powdercoating that is on a stock s/c keeps the heat inside........and by polishing it, you remove the powdercoating which will let the heat out of the inside of the charger better.....now as far as the actual outside being hotter to the touch....I'm not sure yet.....
I had a problem come up last night that I'm gonna fix hopefully here after I get off work....
When they reassembled the pulley and screws.......They locktited the screws......and when trying to remove them to put the smaller pulley on.....I stripped out one of them and messed up 2 more......So I got all but one out last night.......................So hopefully I can get it out and start this damn thing up tonight cause I'm very very very very anxious!!!!

Little update...........Upon further examination of my hub.....it appears there is no locktite inside.....but rather it appears to be corrosion........I know a few other guys had problems with the screws gettin stuck in the hub.....
Here's a little pic of my problem
And then I had to cut part of my 2.7 off to get to the damn hub...
So I'm gonna contact pulleyboys and see if I can get a new hub/pulley cause I know they replaced a couple of the guys hubs on here with the same problem.........
I'll have pics of the s/c on the car tomorrow for everyone

I was thinking that you were saying the -23 degrees was going to come from porting it. I can see now that you meant it would come from polishing it. BIG difference. I would think that might have an effect on how much water you need to inject.
