Another Fuel Gauge Question
Wednesday, September 20, 2006 7:05 PM
Hi, ok yes i know we are supposed to have wideband air/fuel gauges, but i have recieved a narrowband autometer gauge and was wondering if i would be able to use it. I know it wont be as accurate as the wideband, but can it even work at all? i know narrowband is 3 wires and wide is 4, so which 3 wires would i splice into for the narrowband gauge?

Wow....

Narrow band is one wire, wideband is one wire.

Narrowband is trash, you cannot safely judge your AF ratio with a narrowband, AT ALL.

BTW, the signal wire is one wire, the other wires are for the heater circuits...
