quick question - Boost Forum

quick question

i've been under my car for all its oil changes except one, and ive never notice any sensors of any kind in the oil pan? i got an oil pan with my turbo set-up that was tapped and noticed it has a sensor beside the drian plug? do some cars have this or what? 2.4 ld9

I wonder if that would be for oil temp, or oil level sensor... no idea man, my LD9 pan doesn't have anything like that on it...




notice anything about the position of the oil return :S

nice work, mine looks a bit hack but i think it will do. i didnt think it had one maybe the guy installed somthing in there.

Oil level sensor...96 only in LD9. Also, if it is a hack, you best make sure it doesnt leak oil.

i think it must be stock then but the guy told his car was a 98 but maybe he was running another oil pan or engine. thanks
