hey. i was wondering if it is possible to intercool an eaton M 45 s/c
for the LD9 like the ecotecs do.
You can't do it like the ecotecs. Ecotec intake manifolds have intercooler cores built into them. The LD9 ones do not. To intercool an M45, your best bet is water/alcohol injection. Do a search around this forum. You'll find plenty of topics on it.
Basically, you spray a mixture of water and alcohol into your intake charge to drastically cool down the intake air temperature.
not with the GM production , since the s/c case and intake are all 1 piece
if you did a custom set up with the s/c and intake as 2 pieces then you could make a intercooled set up

Yes only a few people have the beter GM charger with a 2 piece set-up.

yeah well , its gonna be come a M62 and intercooled eventually
since the eco M62's are easy to get
thats what i figured. i have a devils own alcohol injection kit to keep the s/c cool.
i was just wondering if you could do it.
