well I'm havin a problem with my fmu. I started up my car and went dow the road and when I looked at my laptop it said I was running lean and I looked up at the fuel pressure I was barely reading 50psi. When it went into boost it didn't raise the fuel pressure. so I popped the hood and and checked the needle valve on it and all the vac lines and everything seemed fine.

What fuel pump you running? If it is stock, its probably taking a dump.

i had a BEGI fmu and it did same thing and it had a bad diaphram in it. so if you know how they work tear it down and check the diaphrams
I think it is his fuel pump, there is an easy way to find out tho, clamp the line behind the fuel pressure gauge and turn the key to prime, see what the pressure is.
Be sure that the inlet and outlet are connected to the right place on the FMU. If you have them switched, it won't raise the fuel pressure. Also, check to see that the vac line is connected to the correct location. If the vac line isn't seeing boost, your FMU won't work.
