Aeromotive FPR - Will it fit a 2.4??
Tuesday, August 29, 2006 2:40 PM
I am looking to buy the Aeromotive AEI-13107 FPR for my 2.4L. I think it has the correct end to fit the fuel rail. Correct me on that if I'm wrong. What I really need to know is if it will clear the timing chain housing. Anyone know?

double posting is the devil the 07 pn i think is not for the 2.4 i think you need the one AEI-13106 where the bracket is diff, the AEI-13107 is for the ecotec

Yeah, I don't know how I got two posts..argh. So will the 06 one still fit between the timing chain housing and the fuel rail? There isn't much room and I gotta find out. Thanks.

I have it on. Good luck trying to get it to fit. It took some major hacking to make it work. Fuel rail, ground down cam sprocket tower a bit, notched out fuel rail bolt holes. I dont think I have any pics of it on . But I can probably manage to get some in the next couple of days. It can be done. That is the exact one I have on. Oh also had to modify the fuel rail itself, shaved both sides of it alot but it works fine.

Where can I get that one?? I looked on Summit, but the only thing that comes up is AEI-13105

which is a universal one.

that is the correct p/n from summit. i had this one for about a year. both 13106 and 13107 have a bigger base where it mounts to.

Then why is it that when I type in this part number: AEI-13105 that it shows a picture different from what you have and also says that its a universal one with MPT fittings?

I ordered the Aeromotive from summit and got the new style you showed. It will not fit w/o modifications like said. I called Summit and talked to a rep about getting the older slimmer one, but was informed that it was discontinued and they could not get it. Like Brian said, your best bet is to try and find one on ebay. Good luck.

IS this the style you guys are talking about. I have the 13106 and of course found out it dont fit . Is this a reasonable price for it?
