Just wondering if there is a specific rebuild kit for a t3/t4 hybrid turbo?

I'm assuming that since the t3 center section is what houses the bearing, that they are the same, but I'm not ordering my kit until later this week so I wanted to make sure.

I'm getting our turbo guy from my old work to rebuild it, he's done lots before.

I checked the shaft play just on the cold side, and its way beyond what it was when new. (the thing has less then 10 hours on it)

I haven't checked the turbine side for shaft play yet.

I have already figured out what caused the problem, and am going to fix it before I put the rebuilt one back on

I know western is going to know, but I'd rather sound like I know what I'm doing when I call.. They're kind of dicks to the outside public.

where did you get the turbo from? It's not like both the fins are touching, eh?
what if thats the way they break in? because the heat could cause the metal to expand. sometimes people have blown oil seals from a brand new turbo. you never know.
I know, I've only been turbo'd for a couple weeks... I'm just trying to help out if I can.
