I just bought a 03 -04 cobra fluidyne heat exchanger off a friend and was wondering should i use the rest of the parts like pump, resevoir, and hoses off the cobalt ss are should i just do custom.
If you can get the pump from a cobalt ss than use that, it is one of the best pumps out there. It flows quite a bit, has 3/4" inlet and outlet and is really really quiet.

id use whatever stock pump you can get your hands on that flows the most gph.
