"Clocking" or Turning turbo Housing? Help?

So I was wondering, How do I "Clock" My turbo, Just losen the bolts that "clamp" the "snail shell" to the res and twist it to the desired position then tighten em back up?

depends on what turbo you have,.

if its a t3 or t3/t4 loosen the 6 bolts that hold the compressor housing to the backplate and rotate the housing,

if your rotating the center section, then do the same with the bolts that hold it to the exhaust housing,.

if its MHI turbo or a holset, your going to need some snap ring pliers.

its a piece of cake.
