Where to by a 2.6 press on pulley?
Monday, August 07, 2006 10:16 AM
I have tried searching. The only info I found was on the pulley boys setup. A nice setup. Considering I will probably not change back to the 2.8 until I sell the car I think I would be paying for a part I will not use. So I am looking for a 2.6 press on pulley.

pulley boys will let you buy there setup with 1 free pulley meaning you can choose whatever size you want. i wouldnt go to the 2.6 until you have alky injection or something else on and from the sounds of things injectors are getting maxed out so i would look into bigger injectors as well

Yeah I'd get your alky hooked up and a new header and exhaust, then upgrade your injectors and throw the pulley on. Get it tuned with hp tuners and you'll be golden.

Already tuned with hp tuners. Shifted told me there is no need to redo it when I swap pulleys.

Tune is good to more than you can boost with the LD9 S/C. If its running too rich or too lean, he's welcome to send it back and I can adjust it for free.
