I was just curious if anyone is running a turbocharged car without a muffler. I'm wondering if just using a converter with a resonator (like a cherry bomb) would be too loud, or if the turbo would keep it quiet.

I have a 2.5 exhaust, no cat and a little muffler and it soud very great! I wouldn't take off the muffler.
i will be running an obx header 2.5 piping header back, no cat 29in cherry bomb glass pack, and a cherry bomb muffler with a ooz sensor sim from rksport

i have 16 g turbo 2.5 inch exhaust no cat just an apexi N1 muffler and its pretty loud deffinitly cant sneak around with it
i had my muffler off for 1 day and it sounded terrible so i got a 2.5 cat back put on with a magnaflow.. sounds much better
i got the turbo 2.5" turbo bach tubing , cat, 20" resonator and a Magna flow 2.25 muffler... and even still its a bit loud for my liking

running mufflerless will do nothing but make your car loud.
id suggest running a nice high flow "turbo" muffler from autozone for liek 20 bucks, flows well and costs 20 bucks.
i however run on my integra, a 3 inch dp, to a 3 inch straight section of pipe, with 2 24 inch resonators run inline with eachother and no muffler, with a turned down tip at the rear axle.
its really not to bad when your out of boost and not ripping it, but when you get on it its dumb loud.
also it drones on the highway.
idk about his area but i know in milwaukee cops love love loud exhausts. they see me as there paycheck when i drive by
im running a eco S/C with 2.5" pipe all the way back w/ high flow cat and a CF muffler. At cruise it sounds great but when WOT its crazy loud almost to loud.
