I wasn't sure if I should have put this into this forum, or the electronics forum.
Sometime in the next few days when I get my gauge pod, I'm going to start installing my boost and wideband 02 gauges. I present the JBO with questions:
I have another gauge opening on the pod, any suggestions to what it should be?
Also, I'm not sure where to take power from in the car for the gauges. A picture would be helpful.
Is there supposed to be a visible vacuum line coming off the intake manifold, through the firewall, up to the boost gauge?
Fuel pressure, in case of fuel pump failure or sucking air, the Fuel pressure guage will let you know theres a problem before your wideband does.
Its pricey, around 250 for a good autometer FP guage, but worth the money.

Also great for tuning with a FMU

MetallicCavy, Definately interested in the electric fuel pressure gauge. But not this instant. We'll keep in touch.

I'll talk to you sometime soon on AIM.
Now about those original questions...
vacuum line - just use a T fitting and tape into a line that see's boost.
power- hard to say, i am not a wiring person, so my stuff is ghetto.
