i have the dual stage boost controler from turbo xs and ive been looking at my turbo waste gate which is external. there is only one vacuum port on it. and the xs instructions say to hook one line to the pressure side and one to the the actuator. i dont have an actuator? or do i? and there is no bolt on the top of it does that mean it wide open and the boost controll should control and limit the pressure? looks like a hks wate gate.
the turbo is a t3/t4 garette.

ya know what, just because its almost getting boring to call you an idiot who doesn't even understand a damn thing he's doing to his car, i'll give you the answer...
you have a pressure line going from either the charge piping or the turbo itself, to the external wastegate yes? that line gets hooked up to the pressure side of the boost controller. Then you simply run another line from the "actuator" side of the boost controller, to the wastegate. You DO have an actuator, its just one piece with your wastegate rather than a separate unit like on an internal gated turbo.

it hasnt blown yet cause im still researching so i dont blow it up. plus i havent hooked it all up yet. man im still lost if i had a camera i would show you. there no lines to or from the turbo except the two oil lines. and one only one nipple from the waste gate. so where do you put the onther line on? why would there be a line from the charge pipes?
the line on the charge pipes is so that you can measure the boost (boost only) that the turbo is pushing out... it does not see vaccum i dont think.... somethings need to see vaccum and boost and others need to see boost only.... things that see vaccum and boost are tapped on the manifold...
i dont know how to answer the rest of your questions
i do know my tial wastegate has two ports... one on the side and one on top... i am not familar with the turbo xs one...

thanks man! i dont know i got a rep from asking to many questions. i was going to get a vacuum and boost gauge in one and hook it up to a vac line on the manifold, i have a ho one.
next weekend my friend and i are going to start some mock up and get this thing going soon. i just need a couple of things this week hopefully and by the end of the summer i'll be boosted.
