well i had my dad drive my car today to see what my car was doing and he thinks that the map sensor might have been messed up because of the windsheild washer fluid im using for injection having too much water in it since its 30% meth. the car like doesnt downshift so im thinking maybe the tps or map sensor is messed up not measuring speed to tell it to shift or something, the cars not throwing any codes or anything as well. any comments guys?
who called this? im telling you TB spacer is the only way your going to get away with out screwing up your TPS... been there done that

I must be one of the only ones that is not in the group of "I messed up my tps from the alky injection" lol
Boosted- Take off ur tps and see if there is water in it first........as far as the map sensor goes....uhhh check the vacuum line and see if its wet inside....

alright guys ill do that sometime this week, i hope thats all it is because i have a spare TPS sitting here. the car revs fine it seems in park just when i go to take off its a bog machine, backfire'n and junk.

1 year +on the water injection. i checked my tps yesterday and all is well
no need for the throttle plate if your system is set up correctly.
boosted- swap the sensors and see how it acts. (bet the same).

my setup was fine, i think that because i was using the nos nozzle is what caused mine to wreck but im gonna make sure anyways $80 isnt expensive at all

if it acts the same then what do i do?
ok, to explain what i meant and why i think water injection will not mess with your TPS if you have it set up correctly.
the 3 people i know that have had their TPS screw up:
chris tatsch- drilled out his water injection injector . who knows how big that hole was.
josh- wasnt sure how much alky was needed and has some controller. so probably injecting way too much at the wrong times.
lafngas- nitrous nozzle.
so basically them are the 3 cases that the TPS has shown problems with water/meth/alky injection. that is not enough proof to make me run out and cobble up some t/b plate and say water/meth/alky injection will ruin a TPS.. IT sucks our tps is on the bottom though. i wonder if you could rotate the t/b 180 degrees and make it work.hmm
If you are running a solonoid/check vavle and it is too far away from the injector that is the problem. I have my check vavle about 6 inchs from the injector, so when the system shuts off, it only sucks in 6 inchs of small tubing worth of fluid. where opposed to others, it could be 1 foot, or even more, who knows what the distance between the injector and checkvavle/ solonoid..
i SORTA thought my tps was messed up. my car has the idle dip to 600 then back to 1k at times when i push in the clutch. OR it would idle sorta high then back to 1000( i turned in my idle set screw). 50psi of fuel pressure at idle, 9lb flywheel, check engine light on running the fans(i turn it off all the time), and secert cams will have a little effect on the idling, but seriously not much with my car.
i took off the t/b and tps saturday. looked and seen it looked fine,no water. compared it to a not introduced to water injection TPS i had lying around(thanks brian). looked the same. so i swapped in the tps that didnt see water injection and it idled the same. Putting the t/b back on, i realized it wasnt sealed up to the s/c as tight as i would have liked it. so i added some washers to the t/b bolts. that might have caused my goofy idle , as it seems to run a little better now, but that is probably all in my head.
my 3 cents.

while my injection has only been in a short while(month or so) i have never experienced any problem and i did the same as Jake and instaled the check valve very close to the injector nozzle. i believe i run the same kit as Jake(Devilsown) and it may also have something to do with the nozzle and brand of kit and not with ALL injection kits. not for sure though.
i have the coolingmist set up.

BINGO, thanks guys, im ordering my TB plate tomorrow, whats the cheapest i can get one for?
i found one for 40$ on e bay.
so what was wrong with it.
keep us updated

TPS was filled with water, she runs perfect now
, i guess im gonna get the obx one off ebay, so all i have to do is tap a hole for the injector or do i use an existing one on this spacer?
just took apart my tps sensor i been using with the water/meth set up for about a year. BONE DRY.
i can see where water will goof things up though.
so it must be good haveing my checkvavle 6inchs from my injector.
