Just wondering if there is any reason why I couldn't put a nitrous nozzle on my coolingmist setup... The reason is for a cleaner instalation, and the nozzles seem to have a smaller profile, so it wouldn't disrupt the airflow as much.
I am looking at a nozzle like this one
linky
Also looking for recomendations for jet sizes, I ordered the kit with the M2 injector.
i have one on my car and when i contacted nos trying to get ideas on how to jet it, they highly recommended not using it cause they said it flows horribly and wont atomize properly, i know i have mine currently but it is coming off and i will be using the parts i got with the alky injection kit
Thanks, looks like I need to go back to the drawing board with the supplied injector...
It's a coolingmist setup, I have all the parts, I just need to figure out how I will mount the injector... Ideally I want it in the middle of an elbow peice of my intake pointed towards the throttle body, so I am looking at getting a mounting plate welded into the intake... The other option is going further down the intake, but that leaves the injector pointing straight up, and around the corner from the throtle body.
ahah if i could have showen you when i put the nitrouse nozzle into my hose and pushed the test button you would NEVER! use it .. it like pours out more then any thing... where as the proper alky nozzles are a fine mist... in a nice cone pattern... plus the nitrous one was puttting to much in, to the point my engine was almost bogging out at times... yes i can and did turn it down but i went threw a $hit! load of alky on a short drive...
with cooling mist use the injectors they have...

silver car - 305whp 315lbs.tq @15psi (91 Octane) or 420whp & 425lbs.TQ @20psi (94 octane+Alcohol Injection)
All dynos run on a Mustang dyno
m2 is too small.
my first set up(m2) mounted into a rubber AEM elbow and now the stock S tube(m4).
just drill a hole in the rubber, put a washer on the iside and tighten it down.
need anything else just ask away.
if you want cheap injectors, do a search. i found a place(mcmastercarr.com) that has them for 8$ shipped. sure beats paying twice that much through coolingmist or anywhere else.
