Supercharged High idle

Anybody faced that problem before with a 1997 2.4l supercharger I have a high idle not much, runs about 1400 rpm.

I didn't change my ecu maybe that's an answer but other wise the car runs good.

Oh and I check the vacuum lines that's not suppose to be it, I'lol check again anyways.

If someone can help !!! please do I need my car running thursday!

Ben

that's a little high. are you sure you're not leaking anywhere?

it should idle. Or at least mine did when I did it. even without the reflash. granted it would die a little bit. but it still idled.

make sure your bolts are torqued to spec and the TB is placed correctly. Also make sure that your little rubber gasket thingies on the TB are still good and not missing.

You may have forgotten the vac line right underneath the back of the area where the supercharger makes contact with the ports. sound familiar?

i had similar problems... and it was between my IAC (idle air control) and also my computer was crapping out on me... and the computer is one of these 150,000km warenty things or somthing like that.... i would see if you can get the computer checked out on the car or get a new IAC

maybe I got the vacuum line wrong. where does the vacuum lines coming out of the buttom goes and is there a specific place for the one of the wast gate ??

I'll try a recent computer tonight if it doesn't work i'll just have to take it out I need the car thursday.
