i know that 2.5 to 3 inch should be used for turbo exhaust.
my question is i had already did 2.25 inch to replace my rusted out exhaust and was wondering how much HP i would be losing by not upgrading any bigger.
or maybe not necessarily HP loss but any harm to the turbo? I am thinking maybe some kind of backpressure problems. i mean the exhaust outlet on the turbo is only like 2 inches anyways so i'm also thinking my 2.25 exhaust may not be too bad.
someone please enlighten me and call me names if necessary. ;O)

IM running 2.25 on my turbo right now and it runs fine with it on there but i really cant compare it to a 2.5" or 3" becasue ive never driven one with either so. IF i were you though i would upgrade to 2.5". IM planning on doing it here soon.
if you have 2.25, the only step IMO would be 3", if spending more money, spend the little extra and go huge, but 2.25" will be good for some good power.
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
Yeah if you're planning on upgrading anyways, go with 3". It'll get all that backpressure off the turbine and allow it to spool quicker, giving more low end power and also be able to breath easier at higher rpms giving you more top end power.
