Fuel Pressure Gauge Problem...

Well just like the title sais above, i have a gauge problem.

Well like 2 days ago my fuel pressure gauge quit working on me. Im guessing its the sending unit cause, why would it just quit working??? I have checked all my connections to it and so one. But i would like to get others opinions on what it could be...

The Gauge is a electric autometer....

This raises a question ive been wondering, not try to jack your thread, but is the Autometer "universal" sending unit still have the same threads as the one they send with the FP guages? Im just curious cus i have a phantom FP guage and i dont have access to a full tap and die set anymore in case my sending unit dies on me

Yea i have the 1/8 npt sender direct autometer replacement that is brand new and never used. I had the same probelm but i fried my gauge and ordered a new sending unit but that wasnt the problem so now i have an extra. Let me know if you want it.

How did you fry the gauge, what caused it?... Im just curious, cause i may have fried the gauge. But i don't see how that would of happened, it worked fine. How much did it cost you for a new gauge itself w/o the sending unit?

I didnt hook up a fuse to my gauge by accident and fired it. I called autometer and they dont sell just replacement gauges so you have to buy the whole thing with the sender and the gauge.
