ecu/boost ? PLEASE
Thursday, June 22, 2006 5:40 PM

I will be installing my turbo next month. I will be using the portfueler set up.

I've been trying to locate a early 03 year ecu that came out of a manual.
I cant find one anywhere, and if i do they don't want to sell just the ecu.

I talked to a junk yard that rebuilds alot of cavaliers. The guy said i could use his name at a dealer
to get my ecu reflashed to an early 03. But i will need a vin number of a 03.

So after a long pointless post can someone give me their vin number that has a early 03 cavalier with manual.
Mines a ls sport if it matters.

i hope it works this way. I'm running out of options. or better yet does anyone have one to sell.

I'm just worried about my 05 having the open/closed loup problem. Any help of incite on the subject would be great. So thanks for the help.

Why do you want it flashed to 03 anyway?

Because that's what HRC recommends you do.

probably the portfueler setup isn't fully compensating for the late eco ecu which as we all know is a bitch about its 14.7 A/F.

but that's just a guess, don't quote me on that...

^^^ correct. from what i've heard. i'm going to try it with the 05 ecu and see what the wideband will say first.
i just want one standing by to see if it will help if i keep going lean. with the a/r.
Thanks for the help.
