i think he was going by the fact the site it was on is from canada
nice lookin though
nice looking car. You see the second gen Z in the back ground as well. I do not think the turbo is that big, just the way they have it mounted.

That's a 2.4.
I had a turbo about the same size for the Ho. It look like a T04E.

While on Honda-Tech.com I saw a post about a Canadian Racing Event I think it was June 4th in Onterio.
While going through the pictures, I came across about 10 pictures of that sunfire but no other video / info or what times it had ran.
Looking at both videos that car seems to have alot more left in it... the suspension looks VERY bad.. car is boucing down the whole track and when he shifts from 1st to 2nd you can see how baddly the rear end starts bouncing around...
If someone can shed some more light into whos car that is or the setup, it would be great.
Thanks.
how does the HO motor work with boost???
isnt a higher comp motor. I thought they were better for all motor.

Compression is not a problem when you are not a wuss
and do things right.
Ho with boost works like any other engine.

Also, June 4th was the CSCS event at the Cayuga dragway. The day before that was teh JCO bash.

Also, looking at the pics i see what looks like a trans cooler, might it be a automatic?
The turbo does look very big to me, the compressor housing is as wide as the timing chain house, a TO4E compressor is not that big. My guess is that it is mounted up that high because it can't fit between the motor and firewall.

I'm going to say a oil cooler. It just seems to shift like a manual on the track.

its a stick, you can see the clutch master cylinder in the pic if you look hard enough.
nice fire.
My car was made with wrenches, Not chopsticks.
My T3/T04E compressor housing was that big.
It's a 5spd also because you can see the clutch reservoir by the strut tower.

Yes, new suspension is in order....

yeah I thought the same thing at first
then I realised the car was fast

it actually looks like a t04s
also another giveaway is the oil fill location, 2.4 is on the timing chain housing, 2.3 is a dip stick that goes into the block on the front side. That's a 2.4, and I'd love to that drive train in a car well built like karo's put down some serious numbers
