well i can buy bulk through work. We can get isopropy alcohol at 99%..is that the stuff thats in heed etc.?

you mean HEET. which is 99% methonal.
i havent used alcohol, so i have no input.
im using the boost juice from snow performance, pretty pricey but seems to be working ok

i use pure methanol as i get it from work and mix it 50/50 for just bombing around but 100% in a cooler when i hit the track
K. Came across this while doing MSDS sheets for work.
Anybody try methyl hydrate yet? I'm looking for options b/c i haven't found a place that sells bulk methanol here where i live (Vancouver Canada) and i sucks paying $3 for one little bottle of heed.

Is there a difference between Methyl Hydrate, Methanol, and Wood Alcohol?
Answer: There is no difference between these products; it is just a different name for the same thing.
Is there a difference between Denatured Alcohol and Methanol, or are they the same?

my 5 gallon pails say methanol and methyl hydrate on them and i use it with no ill effects
