yes it is called a bypass valve.
get a dsm bov. those things have them. also they sell bypass vavles for hks bovs on ebay. pretty much any way you can recirculate it back into the intake.

you can recirculate the area that is blown off to, that quites it significantly

I have one that I only used for about a week, I like a little noise with mine. I think its a bosch its crome with fins, it actually came with my kit I bought from j-tuners.. I can sell it to you.. I mean really I don't hear anything.

im going to use a dsm bov and probably stick a filter or something on it and have my wastegate run back into my exhaust for silencing

im willing to sell my dsm bov..... Ive got other plans for my set up and could use the money. I bought the bov from the misu dealer brand new and got a flange for it alone with gasket and bolts for it. Id let it all go for 70 dollars + shipping

I still doubt it will be silent... If you have a free flowing intake on, even with a diverter valve it will make some noise.
