i was wondering if anyone knew if i could use the old air temp sensor thats screwed into my HO intake manifold thats on my 2000 cav (assuming i change the plug to the old style first so it will plug in ) but other than that will the computer be happy with the old style sensor thanks again.
you can , but its not the best 1 to use , it will pick up temp from the manifold itself because it is a sealed brass IAT
there is 1 from a camaro that is better to use
unless you happen to find 1 with the black plastic IAT
around what year of camaro would i need to order it for ?
i had a post for it(prob arcived by now) , its from the 3rd gen camaro , it is in the air box
it is a screw in sensor , like the 1 in the HO , but the center looks like our stock IAT , and it plugs into our plug with no modifactions
