turbo accesories?

hey everyone . well as it stands i have a thousand dollars to spend . i have a 01 turbo charged sunfire 2200 4 speed auto . it has the j tuners turbo and intercooler kit . i know for the first 500 i am getting the hptuners . what else yall think i should get ? wideband air/fuel gauge? turbo timer? boost controller? it is a stock motor and tanny . thanks for any opinions ...

I hope the hell you havent been running it without a wideband cause if not im suprised you havent gone boom yet without knowing what your a/f ratios are. Go with an fuel pressure gauge maybe and electronic boost controller.

definatly get the wide band. it is esental to tuning your car properly. I wouldn't move the boost up or drive the car untill you could see what your AFR is. other than that I would suggest maybe the pro version of hpt.

i have a narrow band right now .. but iot prettymuch does no good .

Then there is the other thing, and get the EIO version of HPT to use along with it and do the tuning right.

Why does everyone think you have to have a wideband in your car to be able to run it and know what's going on? Yes it helps an assload but it's not like it's required. I don't have one, never have in the almost 30K that I've been boosted now. I go to the dyno and know what the car runs under WOT with my kill switch. I don't need to monitor it every second of every day.

I do suggest them to everyone I sell turbo kits to but please don't make it sound like it's a requirement and not a highly recommended part.
