Okay,
I have a mech. oil pressure guage, the lines are run and it is installed..... it's time to tap in somewhere.
I have a 2001 2200 turbo,
My question is,
Can I tap the feed line right before the turbo with a "t" fitting??
or will this create any oil pressure problems.... or incorrect readings.....
I was going to put the "T" fitting before the 90 degree fitting going to the turbo.... notice where I mean in this picture
Let me know....
Thanks

^^ Exactly, I attached mine to the back of the block where the stock oil pressure sensor is.

I know thats where it can go, but I was wondering if it would affect anything if I put in right before the turbo ....
can you answer me that ?

considering the heat off the turbo , i wouldnt put the line at the turbo unless your running a braided line inside
id just tap off the block where the stock is
Can someone post a picture of the plug you guys used in the block just to be sure?
There are 2 cap screws right above the oil filter (if your turbo is oil cooled, you probably have the lines run there). Use a 1/4" ratchet (no socket) and unscrew it. You will need a 1/4" NPT adapter.
edit: Here's a pic of the location... clicky for full size
